LUX + Eccles Theater
The George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Theater is an exciting new performing arts center on Main Street in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City. Designed by world-renowned architect Cesar Pelli, of Pelli-Clarke-Pelli Architects, the theater, featuring a grand six-story lobby with dramatic retractable glass walls is a beacon of light and energy on Main Street.
The Eccles Theater promises a hub of activity year-round with indoor and outdoor entertainment spaces that can comfortably hold anywhere from 25 to 300+ guests.
The new Eccles Theater, which opened in the fall of 2016, boasts two theaters, a grand lobby, outdoor terraces, private lounges, and much more. It’s a stunning new location to host your next event!
We were inspired by the gorgeous architectural beauty, specifically the rainbow elements in the balcony tiers. We created a tablescape to mimic the vibrant color blocking panels. We also went with mostly acrylic furniture to give the illusion that the florals are floating, while also showing off the custom designed flooring.
Eccles Theater was so in love with out gorgeous custom floral installation that they asked us to leave it up in the space for the following weeks!
