Let’s head back to Anndee and Dakota’s special day on June 17th. During the planning stages of their wedding, the bride and groom expressed their desire to share an intimate dinner together, just the two of them, but didn’t want to be away from their guests for too long. Ultimately, they decided against the private dinner, little did Dakota and Anndee know, LUX had something special planned for them!

During cocktail hour, we pulled the newlyweds aside to enjoy a plate of hors d’oeuvres and champagne away from the hustle and bustle of their reception for a quick 15 minutes. We secretly arranged a romantic table adorned with a beautiful, unanticipated LUX Floral & Design arrangement, in a quaint space near their reception area. We privately served their pre-selected reception hors d’oeuvres – grilled zucchini roulade, sausage stuffed mushrooms, and bacon wrapped chicken, along with a special bottle of bubbly to privately commemorate their commitment to one another! Although a short moment to enjoy hors d’oeuvres together is not quite the same as the private dinner they initially hoped for, we still wanted to provide them with the intimate moment they so romantically sought after – because LUX creates more than just events, we create memories!
