Welcome our New In-House Wedding Cake Designer: Kristen Cold
We are so excited to welcome Kristen Cold to the LeCroissant Catering & Events team as our new in-house wedding cake designer! We’ve worked with Kristen before and know her impeccable and artistic talent when it comes to making customized and delicious wedding cakes.
About Kristen:
Kristen graduated from Utah Valley University’s Culinary program in 2011 and began working in the bakery at Sundance Resort. It was there while helping the head pastry chef create Robert Redford’s birthday cake that she felt the conviction that she was meant to create stunning and delicious cakes.
She transitioned from Sundance to One Sweet Slice where she was 2nd in command as well as part of a winning team on an episode of Food Network’s Cupcake Wars! She then had the opportunity to be head pastry chef at the Washington School House Hotel in Park City. She returned to One Sweet Slice for a second short stint before officially coming to join our team! All in all, her work history and passion for baking culminates in 6 years of experience making cupcakes and wedding cakes!
Kristen’s Specialties:
Kristen has always had a love of art and seriously considered being an artist in high school after taking painting and watercolor classes. This love of art has been channeled into her cake making and designing. Kristen specializes in painted wedding cakes and has a diverse range of styles with an eye for details. Kristen says she is most looking forward to the excitement of working with each individual bride and the creativity that comes with designing a wedding cake that fits the bride’s style, vision and taste.
