ALUXie World Tour

We recently shared with you what it means to be a LUX Unicorn and introduced you to our team mascot, ALUXie. We shared that she had an exciting few weeks coming up on her roster and now it’s time to show you what she was up to!

ALUXie went on a world tour throughout the LUX buildings and completed a stop in each department. While she made her stops she was spreading love and gratitude to the teams! ALUXie stayed in each department she visited for a week at at time, when she landed in a specific department she delivered new uniform t-shirts and her concert t-shirt to each team member. On the tour shirts we created, rather than listing tour dates on the back, we listed our values. She also delivered hand-written ‘thank you’ notes to each person in the department, written by our Event Producers and Experience Concierges. ALUXie’s World Tour was designed to spread cheer and gratitude to every person throughout the building. Our teams have been working incredibly hard and we wanted to recognize them for their efforts!

At the end of her tour, we decided to throw ALUXie a retirement party! We told everyone to wear their tour shirts and we decked out our lunch area in colorful linens, ALUXie stickers, hosted a cotton candy machine, catered lunch, had a temporary tattoo station, and of course, a selfie station with ALUXie! Here’s how it turned out! ALUXie now has a permanent home in our warehouse where team members can see her every time they arrive at LUX!

We’re so lucky to have an amazing and hardworking team! Our team members have created lasting friendships that thrive outside of work, and it’s so much fun to be able to host a culture that allows for these friendships to flourish.
