The Grand Building
With two sprawling floors, an abundance of open space, high ceilings, lots of natural light, large chandeliers suspended over a dance floor, stunning architectural details and ample parking, the Grand is one of Utah’s hidden historical gems when it comes to event spaces. Perfect for large conferences, company parties and galas, the Grand makes for a unique and interesting event space for large guest counts with the largest permanent wooden dance floor in the state, ready for guests to cut the rug. The Grand offers a nearly blank slate with unlimited potential for a variety of events, themes, styles and designs. You can host over 300 for a plated event or over 2,400 for an event on flow.
Promontory Hall
Built in 1902, Promontory Hall was the first building at the Fairpark. Its nickname, “Gateway to the Fairpark,” is an ode to its iconic role as the beginning of this incredible venue that has brought our state together for years. The unique architecture blends Mission-style and Beaux-arts, exuding an ambiance of class and character. The bold red roof creates an impactful entrance and welcomes guests at any style event. Perfect for seated events for up to 250 or over 1,000 cocktail-style.
Pioneer Building
The Pioneer Building features stunningly restored hardwood floors, rustic exposed brick walls, plenty of natural light and lush outdoor space for over 500 guests. The intricate steel beam ceilings provide the ideal canvas for elegant drapery features and romantic or eclectic lighting to set the stage for any kind of event.
Bonneville Building
One of the newest buildings on-site, the Bonneville building was added to the fairpark in the 1970s. The building features built-in wall dividers that allow the event space to be divided into two sections, making this venue ideal for retreats, group meetings, small conferences, dances and parties with a capacity of 600 guests reception-style.
Deseret Building
Dating back to the 1920s but restored in 2003, the Deseret provides flowing natural light, unique ceilings and concrete floors that provide a flexible backdrop for all sorts of events. This venue is ideal for indoor picnics, meetings, wedding receptions and quinceañeras and can host up to 240 guests.
Zion Building
Dating back to 1930, the Zion Building offers both historic charm and modern amenities that provide an ideal backdrop for your next event. The stunning exterior is fashioned from bold red bricks and a hipped gable roof, which inside allows the space to boast a towering wooden vaulted ceiling. The ceiling’s skylights offer a constant stream of natural light during the day and a special view of the Utah stars at night. Whether you’re hosting a wedding, corporate event, fundraiser, mini-trade show or luncheon, it’s the ideal space for any kind of event and can host up to 300 seated.
