LUX + NGLCC

June is Pride Month, we wanted to take a moment to share a big pride achievement with you! 

LUX is incredibly proud to announce our membership with the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC). The NGLCC is the exclusive, third-party certification body that verifies that eligible businesses are majority-owned by LGBT individuals, and subsequently grants Certified LGBT Business Enterprise® (Certified LGBTBE®) designation to such businesses.

As allies and members of the LBGTQ+ community, we are committed to diversity. We take pride in educating ourselves and those around us on making a difference. Being part of the NGLCC will help give us resources to educate ourselves, and our community further. 

After a four-month application and review process, we are thrilled to become one of the 1100+ businesses under the NGLCC umbrella. The NGLCC is a nonprofit advocacy group that aims to expand the economic opportunities and advancement of the LGBT business community. They were founded on the basis of supporting  strong LGBT business owners. They are the voice for the nation’s 1.4 million LGBT business owners and the $1.7 trillion those enterprises add to the national economy each year. NGLCC enjoys the support and participation of more than 190 corporate partners as well as prominent executive leadership in striving to promote pro-business and LGBT-inclusive policies.

In addition to joining the NGLCC we contribute substantial financial donations to our local Pride chapter, various LGBT organizations, and other non-profit organizations.
